The Whitefish Trails project is a system of over 47 miles of trails and 15 different trailheads surrounding the town of Whitefish, Montana. The trails are open to hikers, non-motorized bicyclists, equestrian activity, and they are dog-friendly!
The trail system is the result of a community collaboration driven by the Whitefish Legacy Partners.
The area which the trails access is a collection of both public and private lands which have been set apart for recreational use, and there are many lakes and ponds peppered throughout the forested acreage that can be accessed by the trails, including Beaver Lake, Skyles Lake, Woods Lake and more!
